    Subfolder Issue

    Good Day

I want to use the script on mulitple folders inside the same domain.

I have installed the script on: server.com/folder1/aspuploader and put the include in a file in the folder1 and it works fine.

However i want to be able to use the file to multiple folder.
So I have moved the script to: server.com/aspuploader.

Then I have changed the include path in the file (in folder1) to get the new path location. It finds the file correctly (include_aspuploader.asp) however, it seems that other linked files (such as resources/coreimpl.js) would not work.  The javascript of the page would just crash and the page stop loading.

So I want to know how can I include the script that is on : server.com/aspuloader to files in different folder ex: server.com/folder1/file1.asp and server.com/folder2/file2.asp

    Thanks!

    Re: Subfolder Issue

    Hi Raiden,

I am not very clear your problem.

Once you finished the step below, you should can use the uploader in any page of your site. The different just the include file setting
    <!-- #include file="aspuploader/include_aspuploader.asp" -->

    1. Deploying Uploader Client files.

The "aspuploader" folder and all file it contains (located in the archive) should be deployed to http://{your site}/{your application}/aspuploader/ on your web site.

Maybe you can post the uploader test page url of your site? So we can test it too.

    Regards,

Ok so if I want put the script in different application( folder) then I just need to duplicate the script?

    Will the licence still work?

    Thanks!

    Re: Subfolder Issue

    Hi Raiden,

1 If the different application you mean is a different site different domain, no you can not use on it.

domain license only work for 1 domain name. on different application, they should use different domain name right? So you can not use the domain license on all of them.

2 for the sub folder, yes you can use on it if this folder is not other application and under the same domain name.

    Re: Subfolder Issue

Alright, so if I want to use it 2 times, on 2 different files

    1) server.com/folder1/file1.asp
    2) server.com/folder2/file2.asp

Then I need to deploy in the following directory

    1) server.com/folder1/aspuploader/
    1) server.com/folder2/aspuploader/

And since it's on the same server, then I can use the same licence for both deployment?

    exact?

    Thanks!

    Re: Subfolder Issue

    Hi Raiden,

If just a simple folder, one copy of the aspuploader is enough.
